Cricket Viral Video: Shane Watson has been a pioneer player for the Australian cricket team for almost two decades. He has shown his skills and commitment from both bat and ball. However, his start was rather embarrassing in tests. Actually, he fell on the ground when he bowled his first-ever ball in the longest format of the game.
On September 6, 2015, Shane Watson made a significant announcement regarding his retirement from Test cricket for Australia. In an effort to extend his Test career, he made the decision to step away from the format. However, his retirement did not catch avid followers of Australian cricket off guard, as he had already faced a setback during the Ashes 2015 series. After featuring in only the first Test held in Cardiff, Watson was subsequently excluded from the team for the remaining matches.
Shane Watson embarked on his Test cricket journey with his debut against Pakistan in 2005, held at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. During that momentous match, he showcased his bowling skills by delivering a fuller-length ball down the leg side. Unfortunately, in his follow-through, Watson stumbled and fell over, symbolizing the ups and downs that would characterize his career. While he demonstrated the ability to bowl match-winning spells, he also experienced numerous challenging periods on the field. His career, like that particular delivery, was a mixture of successes and struggles.
Shane Watson played 59 matches in his Test career and scored 3731 runs while also picking up 75 wickets. In 190 ODI matches, he scored 5757 runs and grabbed 168 wickets.
