Cricket Viral Video: In the 2010 Asia Cup, India and Pakistan faced each other in a closely contested match in Dambulla. India required a victory by scoring 268 runs and had 49 runs left in the last 29 balls, but the hopes were dented as Ravindra Jadeja got out. Harbhajan Singh then joined Suresh Raina at the crease and the target was reduced to 16 runs in the remaining two overs.

Harbhajan and Shoaib engage in a heated brawl

During the 49th over, bowled by Akhtar, Raina started with a massive six and then added two runs and a single. When Bhajji faced the final ball of the over, he attempted to hit a well-directed bouncer from the Pakistan fast bowler. After the unsuccessful attempt, Shaoib approached the India spinner and engaged in a heated exchange. The matter started to go out of hands as the altercation appeared to be getting intense. Umpire Billy Doctrove has to intervene to calm the situation.

The pressure increased on India as Raina was dismissed by run out in the second ball of the 50th over, leading to Praveen Kumar's entry to the crease. Praveen took two runs and a single off the next two deliveries, leaving Bhajji with the task of getting three runs off the final two deliveries. Just then, Bhajji hit a massive six over midwicket off the fifth ball by Mohammad Amir, securing India's victory and leaving Akhtar unsatisfied.

However, a few years later, Shoaib Akhtar revealed in an interview that, “I went looking for Harbhajan Singh in the hotel room to fight with him. He eats with us, roams around with us in Lahore, culture is similar to us, he is a Punjabi brother and yet he will misbehave with us? I thought I will go and fight with him in the hotel room. He knew that Shoaib was coming. But I couldn’t find him. I calmed down the next day and he had also apologised.”
