Cricket Viral Video: In the Marsh Cup match between Western Australia and Tasmania in 2021, Andrew Tye delivered an unexpectedly wayward short-ball. The delivery left everyone laughing in the stadium, however, it was the batter's response that made it even more funny.
During Tasmania's chase of Western Australia's total of 221 and with the score at 86-2, Tye was bowling to Jordan Silk. However, the ball seemingly got trapped in his hand and landed right by his feet. Everyone was left confused by the incident as nobody could, at first glance, see the ball itself.
In this situation, Silk, who was at the batting end, appeared just as perplexed as everyone else regarding the legality of the delivery and how to proceed. Uncertainty surrounded whether the ball was viable for a four or if it was considered dead. Eventually, Silk chose to let the ball go through to Western Australia's wicketkeeper, Josh Phillipe, before the umpire signaled a no-ball.

Tasmania emerged victorious in the match, securing a four-wicket win, and Jordan Silk's unbeaten score of 90 runs off 99 balls significantly contributed to this result. Despite the unusual delivery, Andrew Tye displayed an impressive performance for Western Australia, despite being on the losing side. Tye's standout bowling included figures of 4-39 from ten overs, where he successfully dismissed Ben McDermott, Jake Doran, Beau Webster, and Mitchell Owen.
