It is a ritual at Nottingham Stadium to ring the bell before the start of the day's play. This ritual has been done since the inception of the stadium. Nottingham is not the only stadium following this ritual, as Lords' Ground also follows the same. Even Eden Gardens stadium in India follows the same ritual even before an IPL match.

The former English cricketer was seen running in her heels around the ground to ring the bell as the time was running out to complete the ritual. The two-time world champion was adamant about completing the ritual in time.

The instance really gave a good time to all the spectators, and even her fellow commentators were enjoying the moment. “I don’t do that sort of running anymore, especially in heels," The former English player stated.
