He looked rusty in the first few matches of IPL 2024 and that was expected. But after that, he got back in his groove and enlightened us with his signature one-handed sixes and lit up everyone.

His performance also granted him a place in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. And even though Delhi Capitals might not qualify, Rishabh Pant gave them hope and they did better than anyone expected them to do.

The comeback started from how he performed after staying out of the game for so long. And now by the end of the group stages, we are dreaming of him performing in the T20 World Cup. That is how impactful his return was.

Pant scored 446 runs in 13 innings in IPL 2024 with a Strike Rate of 155.40. He smashed 3 half-centuries and has hit 25 sixes in this tournament so far. He was the highest scorer for DC this season.

He might have looked out of touch in a few matches and situations, but he always made sure to come back stronger. It was a delight to see Pant after so long and we hope he can perform at the same level in the World Cup too.

'I Want To Stay On The Field'

Rishabh Pant was emotional while talking about his comeback season in the post-match interview. He said that he loved every bit of his comeback. He loved coming back to the ground.

"I just don't want to stay away from the ground, want to stay on the field all the time." Pant stated.
