He was known for his aggressive batting style, and his fearless approach with the bat, even in an era when helmets were not widely used. However, there is one unfortunate incident when Kapil dev cried on National television. It was after he was accused of match-fixing.

Why did Kapil Dev cry on national televison

His exceptional athletic fielding and inspirational captaincy skills only added to his already impressive reputation as a cricketer. When asked about the allegations in an interview, Kapil Dev famously replied, "I would die before cheating." The incident was so traumatic for Kapil Dev that he was reduced to tears on national television, unable to contain his emotions.
