Cricket Viral Video: In a display of batting brilliance, Virat Kohli powered India to eliminate Australia from the T20 World Cup 2016 with a remarkable unbeaten innings of 82 runs from 51 balls. Showcasing an acceleration for the ages, Kohli astonishingly scored 33 runs in a mere 13 balls, emerging as the driving force in the partnership alongside former captain MS Dhoni.
Kohli mesmerized the Mohali crowd with an extraordinary display of shot-making brilliance during India's T20 World Cup 2016 encounter against Australia at the PCA Stadium. Following a nail-biting 1-run win over Bangladesh, Team India needed to secure a spot in the semi-finals by defeating them. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Australia began with a solid start, with Aaron Finch's knock of 43 runs. However, their middle-order faced a collapse. Nonetheless, valuable contributions from Glenn Maxwell and wicket-keeper Peter Nevill allowed Australia to cross the 160-run mark.
India's batting innings began with a rocky start, losing both openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan during the powerplay itself. Soon after, Suresh Raina fell victim to Shane Watson's bowling, putting the Men in Blue in a precarious situation.
Subsequently, Kohli and Yuvraj Singh managed to steady the ship, but the required run rate was steadily climbing, creating a need for someone to step up with a quick 30-run contribution in just 15 balls to inject momentum. The partnership between Yuvraj and Kohli, worth 45 runs, unfortunately ended at a crucial juncture, leaving India with the daunting task of scoring 68 runs in the final six overs. Kohli had achieved his half-century from 39 deliveries, and the team relied on him and Dhoni to accelerate the scoring. However, Kohli had a different strategy in mind.
