Cristiano Ronaldo: The ace fotoballer has been in the headlines for possibly all the wrong reasons in the last few months. One of the most surprising incidents happened when the Portuguese superstar gave an explosive interview to infamous British journalist Piers Morgan where he spoke about the team and current manager Erik ten Hag. The club revealed that they had cut ties with Ronaldo a few days later. At this point, it seems like Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has also gone along his father's way as well.

Ronaldo Jr. joins Real Madrid academy
Ronaldo's kid, who is 12 years old and interested in football, joined the team's academy after his father made an emotional return to Manchester United during the summer transfer window. According to sources, he too has since quit the academy in response to his father's abrupt departure. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has now joined the academy of his father's former team, Real Madrid, he added.
Also according to sources, Ronaldo was working out at Real Madrid's facilities after Portugal's World Cup elimination. Since the Portuguese striker abruptly left Manchester United, he is currently an not playing for any team. Al Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, is said to have offered Ronaldo a huge contract for €400 million, making them the strongest candidate to be his next club, according to rumours.

Ronaldo had a poor FIFA World Cup 2022 season
The head of Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo have both refuted these allegations, though. With just one goal, and that goal coming from the penalty spot, Cristiano Ronaldo also had a very poor World Cup season. In fact, he was kept to the bench for Portugal's matches against Switzerland and Morocco in the Round of 16 and quarterfinals, respectively.
