Cristiano Ronaldo: Once more, Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself in the spotlight due to an unsportsmanlike gesture directed towards the support staff of an opposing team during a Saudi Pro League match held in Riyadh on Monday.
Cristiano Ronaldo's hopes of securing the Saudi Pro League title in his debut season faced another setback as his club, Al-Nassr, was held to a 1-1 draw at home by the struggling Al-Khaleej in Riyadh on Monday. Despite Al-Khaleej's battle against relegation, they took an unexpected lead in the fourth minute through Fabio Martins at Al-Awwal Park. However, Al-Nassr swiftly responded, with Alvaro Gonzalez securing a goal.
In the 58th minute, Portuguese forward Ronaldo believed he had provided his team with the lead, only for the goal to be disallowed by the referee due to an offside infringement. Following the conclusion of the match, further action unfolded as Ronaldo made his way towards the dressing room. During this time, a member of the opposing team's staff approached Ronaldo, attempting to capture a selfie with him.
Expressing his dissatisfaction, the Portuguese superstar displayed his displeasure when the Al-Khaleej support staff member attempted to position himself beside him, forcefully pushing him aside in frustration.

At the conclusion of the match, a swarm of Al-Khaleej players eagerly surrounded Ronaldo in an attempt to obtain his shirt. However, when a member of the team's staff approached Ronaldo with the intention of taking a selfie with the former Real Madrid striker, he responded with aggression, forcefully pushing the staff member away.
Remaining in the second position, Al Nassr accumulated a total of 57 points from 26 matches. The team led by Ronaldo missed out on the chance to climb to the top spot, as the current table-toppers, Al Ittihad, also suffered a defeat. Al Nassr's upcoming fixture is scheduled against Al Ta'ee on Wednesday, May 17.
