CSK vs LSG IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings have returned to their home ground Chepauk Stadium after a long gap. The team is currently battling out against Lucknow Super Giants. However, it was the latter who won the toss and chose to bowling. But, the decision has so far misfired as the CSK openers have been smashing the ball all around. Within the powerplay, they have managed to post 79 runs without any loss. Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed three maximums in one over, the video of which has now gone viral on social media.
Ruturaj Hammers three sixes
KL Rahul won the toss and opt to field first in the highly anticipated game since the Chepauk crowd had been waiting for the match for a long time. The team did not disappoint them either as openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway continue to fire and smash boundaries for fun as the bowlers appeared completely helpless.
Gaikwad slammed three sixes in the fifth over which was being bowled by Gowtham. The first ball of the over went for dot while on the second ball, Ruturaj smacked down the ground for six. Then, on the fourth ball, he again hit the ball towards long-off. It was not the end of nightmare fro bowler as in the last ball, he once again smashed the ball for six on wide long-off.
