DC vs GT IPL 2023: Axar Patel's batting skills have been the latest discovery in Indian Cricket. For years, he has been one of the most reliable bowlers of teams he has played. However, his batting especially against Australia in the past two months has taken fans by storm. In today's match against Gujarat Titans, he once again showed his skill by playing a brief cameo including several big shots.

Axar Patel hits one-handed six

DC's skipper Rishabh Pant is quite famous for his batting style as he plays mostly non-conventional shots. Though, he, unfortunately, suffered a major car accident last year and had been unable to play cricket since then. However, after months, he made his first public appearance since then by coming as a spectator in today's match.

Axar Patel gave a fitting tribute to him by hitting a powerful six single-handedly. The hit came in the last over of the innings, which was being bowled by Mohammed Shami. On the first ball which came length outside off- he hit the six towards the wide long-on. The hit would have surely made Rishabh proud since he usually treats fans by hitting such shots. Axar Patel ended up scoring 36 runs off 22 balls, hitting two boundaries and three maximums. His knock was crucial as top order didn' performer as per the expectations.
