South Africa have levelled the three-match series against India as they won the Johannesburg Test by 7 wickets.
Proteas captain Dean Elgar top-scored for the his team with his impressive x-run knock.
Elgar held the one end of the batting right from start and was part of four good partnerships. He added 47 runs for the first wicket with Aiden Markram followed by a 46-run stand for the second and a solid 83 and 68-run for the third and fifth with Rassie van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma respectively.
The fourth Test will played at the Newlands in Capetown from January 11 to 15.
