England Win Toss, Elect To Bowl First, Ashwin Still Missing From India XI

England captain Joe Root has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second Test match at Lord’s on Thursday.

England made three changes in their line up Haseeb Hameed replaced Zak Crawley, Mark Wood comes in the squad for injured Stuart Broad, and all-rounder Moeen Ali back in the side for Ollie Pope.

India made just one change and that has also raised questions. Ishant Sharma is back in the squad after Shardul Thakur was injured. Ravichandran Ashwin has once again been left out from the playing XI. India are going with 5 batsmen, a wicket-keeper and an all-rounder- Ravindra Jadeja in the Lord’s Test match.
