Virat Kohli: Former India Skipper and Star Batsman has put forward his sharp criticism on the fake news surrounding around him and the farmhouse he owns in Alibaug. Taking to Instagram, Virat Kohli shared a story with a screenshot of a leading national daily newspaper which had published the news of him and Anushka Sharma building a cricket pitch at their Alibaug farmhouse. He slammed the media house by writing "Bachpan se jo akhbaar padha hai, wo bhi fake news chaapne laga hai ab." (The newspaper which I have read since childhood, has also started publishing fake news).
In 2022, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made an investment in an 8-Acre property situated in Zirad Village, Alibaug. They recently paid visit to the site and the images started to surface soon enough as well. However, the couple did not say anything about construction or any kind of infrastructure but the report from the publication house drew straight criticism from Virat himself.
In a recent occurrence, Virat Kohli debunked false information concerning his earnings from social media. Several media outlets had claimed that Kohli makes 11.4 crores for each of his social media posts. Nonetheless, Kohli discredited these reports and set the record straight, asserting that the figures are inaccurate.
