FIFA World Cup 2022: The fourth quarter-final match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 took place late on Saturday (December 10). England was defeated by France 2-1 in an exciting game. The French team was able to advance to the semi-finals with this victory for the second time in a row. In a game that was shifting at every second, England captain Harry Kane missed the penalties.

England was defeated by France

Mason Mount of England was then fouled by Frenchman Hernandes in the 81st minute. The result was a penalty for England. Once more advancing to take the penalty shot, Harry Kane missed it this time, and the ball went over the goal post.

France is two steps away from making history

Right now, France is only two steps away from making history. The French team will become the first side to win two World Cups straight in the last 60 years if it is successful in defending its championship. Brazil completed this task previously. In 1958 and 1962, he won the World Cup twice in a row. Since that time, no team has been able to win two World Cups in a row.
