FIFA World Cup 2022: Morocco advanced to the 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinals by defeating Portugal 1-0 in their quarterfinal match. With this victory, Morocco became the first country from Africa to go to the World Cup semifinals, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal was eliminated. Morocco won the match, and there were jubilant celebrations on the field right away.

The World Cup championship game is only one step away for Morocco. Morocco achieved history with a victory thanks to Youssef En-header Nesyri’s in the first half. When Portugal’s Diogo Costa ran off his line and attempted to punch the ball, he was unable to get close to it, and Youssef En-Nesyri of Morocco scored the game’s lone goal.

Semifinal clashes to happen on THIS date
On December 14 and 15, there will be two semifinal matches. On Saturday, December 17, the teams which lost their games will compete for third place. Sunday, December 18, is the day of the championship game.
