Former Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas took to his social media to announce a news and It shook some of his fans while the others are supporting him. Ikir Casillas announced on October 9 that he is a gay. He posted a clarification after hours of that post, stating that his account was hacked by somebody and they used his account to circulate this wrong information about him. He apologized with LGBT community and fans, the former captain said that everything was in order now and it was just a false information. Earlier, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper posted on his twitter account, “I hope you respect me, I’m gay’.
After hours of his statement, Casillas uploaded another post on his twitter account, saying “Hacked account. Luckily everything in order. Apologies to all my followers. And of course, more apologies to the LGBT community. “ He got support from many of his fans and one of his supporters from Barcelona was their former captain Carles Puyol,who posted on his Twitter account, “It’s time to tell our story, Iker.”

Iker Casillas had an amazing career with both Spain and Real Madrid. He won a World Cup, two European Championship and five La Liga Championships along with three Champions League titles. He joined Real Madrid when he was nine-year-old and he served them for 25 long years.
