French Open 2020: Organisers are aiming to gather 20,000 audiences per day in the tournament

Despite the increasing cases of coronavirus in France, viewers will be allowed to enter in the French Open starting this month. The organisers shared this information on Monday.

The organisers of the French Open had released the health protocols for this sole Grand Slam at Clécourt. The tournament was supposed to be held in May, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic now it will now be played from September 21 to October 11.

The federation wants to receive 50 to 60 percent of the stadium’s capacity or about 20,000 fans per day in the tournament. Roland Garrow will be divided into three zones and the audience will also be divided accordingly.

The organisers said that corona tests of all the players will be conducted and they will be able to play only if found negative. They will be re-examined after every five days.
