Former captain Sunil Gavaskar defended the batsmen after the Indian team was bowled out for 36 runs in the second innings in the day-night Test match played against Australia.
He said that the batsmen should not be blamed for this completely on the other hand the pitch was pace friendly and Australian bowling extraordinary.
