Golden boy Neeraj Chopra returns to training after Tokyo Olympics success

India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra returned to training at NIS Patiala after two months following his Tokyo Olympics heroics in August.

Chopra is the second Indian individual to win a gold medal in Olympics and first to make a podium finish.

“Returned to training this week with the same hunger and desire as before. A #throwback to the beginning of the last Olympic cycle is a good place to start! Thank you to everyone for your messages of support,” he tweeted on Wednesday, along with a photo of his training.

The 23-year-old who became the Olympic champion in javelin throw after throwing the javelin for 87.58 meters said that his nect target would be to win a medal at World Championship in United States next year.

Recently he also said that he would like to continue with his current coach Klaus Bartonietz till 2024 Paris Olympics.
