GT vs KKR IPL 2023: In today’s match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rashid Khan demonstrated once again why he is considered the best T20 bowler in the world. Rashid created history by taking the first hat-trick of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL). However, his side lost the match by 3 wickets in the end due to Rinku Singh’s valiant knock.
Rashid Khan takes hattrick
Initially, KKR looked to be doing well in their attempt to chase a total of 205, and Rashid seemed to be struggling as he gave away 35 runs in his first three overs. However, Rashid took on the challenge of bowling the 17th over as soon as Andre Russell came into bat, and then he produced an amazing display of skill. Before the over, KKR required 49 runs in four overs. Just on the first ball, he dismissed Andre Russell.
He then dismissed the hard-hitter Sunil Narine on the second ball of the over. The star of the last match against RCB, Shardul Thakur then came to bat but he was too dismissed by the bowler by LBW as he tried to begin with some big shots. This is the 22nd hat trick in the history of the Indian Premier League.
