Haryana CM announces cash prize of Rs 6 crore for Manish, Rs 4 crore for Singhraj for winning gold and silver

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced a cash reward of Rs 6 crore and Rs 4 crore for Manish Narwal for winning gold and Singhraj Adhana for taking silver in the mixed 50m pistol event at the Tokyo Paralympic games.

Both the medal winners are from Faridabad district in the state.

The state government also promised government jobs to both the Paralympics medallists.

PM Modi also congratulated both the medallist for their teriffic performance at the Paralympics.

“The outstanding Singhraj Adhana does it again! He wins yet another medal, this time in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 event. India rejoices due to his feat. Congrats to him. Wishing him the very best for the future endeavours. #Paralympics #Praise4Para,” tweeted PM Modi.

“Glory from the Tokyo #Paralympics continues. Great accomplishment by the young and stupendously talented Manish Narwal. His winning the Gold Medal is a special moment for Indian sports. Congratulations to him. Best wishes for the coming times. #Praise4Para,” wrote PM on twitter.
