"He made us proud in Australia" Fans slam netizens for creating unnecessary Tilak controversy over Mohammed Siraj & Umran Malik

Mohammed Siraj - Umran Malik: The first Test match between India's cricket team and the formidable Australian team will take place on February 9 in Nagpur. Given that both teams have strong spinners, there is a potential that we may witness a rank turner in Nagpur, which would make the match fascinating.

Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik under criticism

The visitors chose not to participate in the exhibition game, claiming that they could adjust to the environment without playing in a tour game. In a non-series practise match, according to Steven Smith, a green top was served the previous time. However, a video has gone viral which has generated much stir even before the start of the series.

The entire squad was given a warm welcome as the hosts arrived in Nagpur for the first Test match. But, the young pacers Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik generated a lot of attention on social media by refusing to have a Tilak. The video instantly got viral and drew mixed responses as some people bashed them for doing so. However, the fans were quick to come to rescue as they quickly slamme people for making unnecessary controversy. In the video, it was visible that other Hindu staff didn't apply tilak too.

The first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) is frequently regarded as an exciting one since there is not just exciting action but also a lot of drama. Last time, in 2017, everyone saw a strong competition between the then-captains Virat Kohli and Steven Smith.
