Holi 2023: Star Aussie batter David Warner turns back the clock, shares old ‘memories’ of celebrations

Holi 2023: The festival of colours, Holi, was celebrated with much enthusiasm today. Taking to social media, people shared their pictures and memories. In a similar instance, star Australian batter David Warner also shared photos on his Instagram account.

What did David Warner post?

In the photos, the batter can be seen engulfed in different colours while playing with his friends. Along with the photos, he wrote, “Memories of holi few years back.”

During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Warner encountered an injury in the second Test held in Delhi, causing him to leave the Australian team mid-series. In the opening Test in Nagpur, he made a score of 1 and 10, followed by a disappointing performance in the second Test in New Delhi, where he only managed to score 15 in the first innings.

As the Indian Premier League approaches, Warner’s injury could potentially pose a challenge for his involvement in the tournament.

On Tuesday, the Indian cricket team members celebrated Holi by painting each other with colors while traveling on their team bus. Star players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer were all seen participating in the festivities.
