ICC ODI Rankings: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retained their top spots

Indian captain Virat Kohli has retained the top position in the ICC ODI rankings of batsmen. Johnny Bairstow of England managed to make it to the top 10 with his great performance in the series against Australia.

Kohli (871 points) and vice-captain Rohit Sharma (855 points, second-ranking) were not playing cricket for a long amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have retained their places in the rankings.

Bairstow added a total of 196 runs in the series and in the final match, he scored 112 runs in 126 balls, allowing him to re-enter the top 10. 30-year-old Bairstow from Yorkshire reached ninth place in October 2018 and is now 23 points away from his career-best rating of 777.
