ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final schedule announced, Details Inside

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is just a few weeks away to start, it officially begins on October 16. A total of 16 teams are going to compete in the tournament. The tournament is divided into two phases, total of 8 teams shall play Round 1 before playing on the Super 12 stage of the tournament. These 8 teams are divided into Group A and Group B. Sri Lanka, UAE, Netherlands, and Namibia are included in Group A. The Group B includes West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, and Zimbabwe. The two top teams will play the matches of Super 12 stage.

Each team will play 5 matches

The Super 12 stage already has 8 teams, which are pre-qualified. These 8 teams are already divided into Group 1 and Group 2. Group 1 includes Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan and England. Group 2 includes India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh. Four more teams after winning Round 1 will be added to the Super 12 groups. In the Super 12 stage of ICC World Cup 2022, each team will play the other 5 teams of their group once. The top 2 teams of each group will then play the Semi-final. The Grand finale of the ICC tournament shall be played on November 13 in Melbourne.
