ICC T20 World Cup 2024: The brotherhood of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is no hidden fact. Both of them have backed each other in tough times and have seen all those tough times together.

When Rohit was out of form, Kohli as a skipper backed him and we can see the fruits. Meanwhile, when Kohli was out of touch, skipper Rohit Sharma never wandered his trust elsewhere and he is in no mood to do so now.

Kohli has had a very underwhelming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 so far. After the semi-final against England, Rohit was asked whether he would back Kohli in the finals or not and the answer was straight and without any hesitation.

After being asked whether he is concerned about Kohli's form or not, Rohit stated "He (Kohli) is a quality player. Any player can go through that. We understand his class and his importance. Form is never a problem. The intent is there. Absolutely (backing Kohli for the final)."

The Indian skipper further praised his team and stated "We have been very calm as a team. We understand the occasion (final). Staying composed helps you make good decisions. That'll help us make the game through. You got to play good cricket. That's what we want to do in the final."

Indian head coach Rahul Dravid also had no doubts regarding Kohli and his form. He stated “ You know with Virat, the thing is, when you play a slightly high-risk brand of cricket there can be times when it doesn't come off.

Even today, I thought he hit a good 6 to set the tempo but he was just unlucky that the ball seamed a little bit more. But I love the intent, I love the way he went about doing it. It sets a good example for the group as well if he's willing to do it.

And you know, for some reason, I don't want to jinx it but I think there's a big one coming up. I'm just loving his attitude and that he's committing himself on the field - I think he deserves it."
