Pujara is the 13th player to play 100 Tests for Team India, having played more than 100 matches in International Test cricket for the Indian team.

Former Team India batsman Sunil Gavaskar gave Pujara a special cap before the 100th Test match in Delhi today. Pujara has scored 7021 runs in 99 Test matches, including 19 centuries and 34 half-centuries. His contributions to the Indian cricket team are well-recognized, and he is considered to be a valuable asset to the team. The special welcome given to him on his 100th Test match is a testament to his accomplishments and the respect he commands from his teammates.
