IND vs BAN: The second Test between Bangladesh and India is now in progress. When Bangladesh batted first in this game, the first innings saw them score only 227 runs. Biggest individual score in Bangladesh’s inning was scored by Mominal Haque, who scored 84 runs.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 26 runs in his absence, adding to the total. The Indian team then began batting at the same time, however they lost two wickets in the process. Wherein KL Rahul, the skipper, was dismissed after only scoring 10 runs as Taijul Islam created havoc with his bowling.

Taijul Islam’s unplayable delivery dismisses KL Rahul

In fact, the Indian squad was supposed to take the lead by scoring well after bowling out Bangladesh for 227 runs, but Taijul Islam seems to be derailing this plan. KL Rahul, the captain of the Indian squad, was playing well at the start of the second day when suddenly Taijul Islam, who was delivering the 13th over, arrived and bowled the very first ball.

Rahul was unable to read it, and the ball struck his leg directly. The umpire then refused to grant the LBW appeal. Bangladesh did take the review, though, later. After the ball was shown to have touched the stumps directly by review, the umpire was forced to reverse his decision and walk over to KL Rahul’s pavilion.
