IND vs NED: Rain to spoil India’s match today in Sydney? See what reports predict

IND vs NED: India will play Netherlands in their second T20 World Cup Super 12 game on Thursday in Sydney after defeating Pakistan.

Arshdeep Singh’s heroics and a brilliant Virat Kohli masterclass enabled India achieve a four-wicket victory in the closely contested encounter against their arch-rivals. Rohit Sharma’s team was put to the test. India will like to continue building on their strong T20 World Cup start with an eye toward the fight for the semifinals.

There was a prospect of rain during the match between India and Pakistan, but the rain gods chose to skip their visit, leaving the Melbourne Cricket Ground unaffected. However, a few days after the highly anticipated game, Ireland shocked England with a five-run victory (DLS), and the game between New Zealand and Afghanistan was called off before a ball was even bowled.

The weather forecast in Sydney is more accurate and there are 40% chances of rain happening. However, the conditions are predicted to remain clear throughout the game.

In preparation for their encounter against the Netherlands, India participated in an optional training session on Tuesday. No player would be rested for the game, according to Paras Mhambrey, the bowling coach for India. The all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who experienced cramping during the conclusion of the Pakistan game, was also mentioned as being “alright and fit to play.”
