IND vs NZ: On Saturday, India's second One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand was momentarily halted after a fanboy broke through security to enter the stadium and hugged India captain Rohit Sharma. The incident occurred during the Indian innings' 10th over. In the third and fourth balls of the over, Rohit had struck a four and a six off Blair Tickner.

Little fan hugs Rohit Sharma

As he stood in his crease, ready to face the next ball, a young child came racing up and hugged Rohit. The Indian skipper was taken aback. The security guards, who were sprinting after the youngster, immediately grabbed him and lifted him off the ground. The little fan was quickly removed from the ground by security officers. However, photographs have emerged showing Rohit requesting with security authorities not to interfere with the fan.

Some netizens also pointed out that Rohit was actually saying, "Jane do baccha hai (Leave him he is just a kid). The reaction by the skipper is being praised by everyone on the social media. Rohit Sharma eventually made 51 off 50 balls before being dismissed in India's easy chase of 109 runs.
