Ind Vs Pak Asia Cup 2025 Match: Prior to the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan match at the Asia Cup 2025, we are ramping up the emotions. Aishanya Dwivedi, the wife of the Pahalgam terror attack victim, Shubham Dwivedi, has put forth some serious questions on the BCCI, the cricketers, and the sponsors, saying that with the help of organizing this match, the sacrifices made by the 26 families who lost loved ones have been bypassed.

A powerful anti-match statement

Aishanya Dwivedi disapproved of the move by BCCI to approve the India vs. Pakistan game. She explained that the board is not emotional to the 26 families still mourning the death of their loved ones in the terror attack. To her, conducting this match is equivalent to pretending that their suffering does not exist and focusing on revenue more than emotions.

The Stand of the Cricketers in Question

Addressing players, Aishanya inquired why the majority of them have not spoken out. She noted that we tend to believe that the game of cricket has been considered to be the national game of India and the cricketers are regarded as nationalists, but very few or none of them have talked about boycotting Pakistan. She said that BCCI cannot compel cricketers to play at the point of a gun, and they must represent the nation.

Sponsors and Revenue Concerns

Aishanya Dwivedi also shifted her focus to sponsors and broadcasters. She challenged their nationalism and questioned whether their responsibility to the 26 families is over. She says that the money gained in the match will just be good in Pakistan, which can use it to finance terrorism again.

Encouraging  Citizens to Boycott

In a powerful request, she encouraged the Indian people to cancel the match altogether. She urged the citizens not to attend the stadium, not to tune on to TV screens, and not to sponsor an event that, according to her, will indirectly empower a terrorist state.
