IND vs PAK ICC ODI World Cup 2023

IND vs PAK ICC ODI World Cup 2023: On Saturday, Rohit Sharma joined an exclusive club of cricketers, including Chris Gayle and Shahid Afridi, by hitting his 300th six in one-day international cricket. Rohit accomplished this milestone with a well-executed drive over long-on off Haris Rauf during an ICC ODI World Cup match against Pakistan in Ahmedabad.

Rohti Sharma continues to decimate records

Rohit Sharma has already claimed the title of the leading six-hitter in international cricket, surpassing the West Indies legend Chris Gayle. He solidified his position during a remarkable century against Afghanistan, where he scored 131 runs from 84 balls, including 16 boundaries and 5 maximums, achieving a strikingly high strike rate of 155.95.

Rohit left no room for doubt, addressing concerns raised by pundits who believed he faced difficulties against bowlers like Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. He even effortlessly dispatched Mohammad Nawaz for a six over mid-wicket, with the ball covering a distance of over 80 meters and completed 300 sixes in the ODI format.

Earlier, the Indian bowlers delivered a crushing blow to Pakistan’s batting lineup. Bowlers like Bumrah, Siraj, Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja all secured two wickets each, resulting in Pakistan being dismissed for a mere 191 runs in 42.5 overs. Captain Babar Azam top-scored for Pakistan with 50 runs off 58 balls, while Mohammad Rizwan contributed 49 runs.
