IND vs SA, T20 World Cup: Suryakumar Yadav’s high pressure knock guide India to 133 vs South Africa

After opting to bat first vs South Africa in their third match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, India posted 133 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored for India with his 40-run knock.

At one stage, India were reduced to 49/5, but later Suryakumar and Dinesh Karthik held a 52-run partnership that brought some momentum to the Rohit Sharma’s team.

For South Africa, Lungi Ndigi picked up.4 wickets as he dismissed Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya in his career’s one of the best spells. While Wayne Parnell picked three wickets.

Earlier, Rohit made one change in the lineup as he brought Deepak Hooda in place of Axar Patel. While South Africa have brought in Lungi Ngidi comes in for Tabraiz Shamsi.

India come into the game after winning two consecutive games vs Pakistan and Netherlands. Pakistan’s clash will be remembered for Virat Kohl’s special knock while the match against Netherlands saw an all-round performances from every department.

While on the other side, South Africa have the best pace spearheads in the tournament and they come into the game registering a comfortable win over Bangladesh where Rilee Rossouw scored a ton.

Proteas’ first game vs Zimbabwe saw a point sharing after rain played spoilsport in a 9-over clash.
