10,000 ODI Runs In IND vs SL Asia Cup 2023 Match
Rohit Sharma reached the milestone of 10,000 ODI runs when he hit a six off Rajitha in the 7th over. It was his 241st six in the ODI cricket and he became the sixth Indian batsman to reach this milestone.
He is also the second-fastest player to reach 10,000 runs in just 241 innings. Virat Kohli is at first with 205 innings while Sachin Tendulkar is behind Rohit Sharma with 259 innings. The growth that the Hitman has shown over the years is commendable.
He was not even in the top 150 quickest players to score 1000 runs but he kept on improving and started scoring consistently after a while.

An emotional moment came outside the ground when former Indian opener and long-time partner of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan congratulated him. Dhawan opened the innings for India alongside Rohit for more than a decade.
