IND vs SL: On January 12, during the second ODI, the 28 year old Axar Patel showed his amazing reflexes on field while dismissing Chamika for 17. Axar who was positioned near the inner line pulled off a blinder, leaving everyone shocked, At the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the second One-Day International of the three-match series between the Dasun Shanaka-captained Sri Lanka and India is presently underway.

On the last delivery of the 34th over of the first innings, Chamika Karunaratne, the star all-rounder was dismissed and Sri Lanka lost their eighth wicket. His innings only featured three boundaries and a paltry 17 runs from the bat off 25 balls.

Karunaratne played a punch shot from his back foot after receiving a short, 144.3 kph delivery from Umran Malik, an express pacer, outside off-stump. The delivery had an additional bounce, Karunaratne couldn’t hold it down, and Axar Patel dove to his left at the backward point to make a fantastic catch with both hands.

Karunaratne hit a punch shot from his back foot after Umran Malik, a fast bowler, bowled a short-of-a-length delivery to him just outside off-stump at 144.3 kph. Axar Patel dove to his left at the backward point to make a fantastic catch with both hands as the throw had an additional bounce and Karunaratne had trouble keeping it down.

After making a strong start in the game, Sri Lanka saw a batting collapse but still managed to reach 215 runs.
