IND vs SL: Today marks the conclusion of the three-match One-Day International series between India and Sri Lanka. At the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, the final game is currently underway. The Indian team elected to bat in this game after winning the toss, and they got things going quickly.
Rohit Sharma hits two maximums
Though, Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring 42 off 48 balls. Rohit looked in good form today and hit some classical shots throughout his innings. Rajitha entered the game to bowl for Sri Lanka in the innings’ ninth over. Rohit Sharma utilised the moment and smashed two maximums in the over, that too consecutively. Skipper Rohit looked in great touch before being eventually dismissed.
After three dot balls in the over, the skipper went into rage mode and showed no mercy to the bowler as he smashed the next two balls for a six. The first six was pulled off by the star opener on the ‘on-soide’ in what appeared to be a pull shot. The next six was hit by Rohit Sharma on the long-off side as he continued to wreak havoc on the field.
