IND vs SL: Deepak Hooda crushes Sri Lanka alone, wreaks havoc at Wankhede with four sixes | Watch Video

IND vs SL: The first T20I match between India and Sri Lanka is currentlyunderway at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Team India scored 162 runs in 20 overs thanks to the heroics of Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel. The duo played an outstanding partnership knock which helped India get to a respectable total. Axar scored 31, while Deepak scored 41. On the strength of these two players' innings, Team India may reach 162 runs.

Deepak Hooda wreaks havoc during first IND vs SL T20I

While coming to bat at number six, Deepak Hooda created havoc on the field. He not only saved Team India from danger, but also led them to a decent total. During his ferocious 41-run inning, Hooda smashed four sixes. India's top five batting order players were taken out for 94 runs by Sri Lanka. With the exception of Kasun Rajita, every bowler for Sri Lanka has taken one wicket in this match. While Kasun Rajitha gave away the most runs, he conceded 47 runs in just 4 overs.

Deepak Hooda's brilliant four sixes guided India to the total they would not have expected after 15 overs. Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav and Shubhman Gill were dismissed cheaply, thus, fireworks by Deepak Hooda came as a surprise for team India's fans.
