IND vs SL: The first Twenty20 International between India and Sri Lanka hasn't gone well for the Men in Blue so far as they immediately lost their top order. The Indian batting experienced a minor collapse after the loss of the first wicket, losing four wickets in only five overs. As star players like Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson unable to deliver, the Sri Lankan spin attack tore through India's middle order.

Sanju Samson fails to score big

Social media users immediately expressed their outrage at the performance and singled out Sanju Samson. Considering that Samson only managed to score five runs in six balls, online users immediately dubbed him "Overrated" and "Overhyped."

Sanju Samson's inclusion in the team was a much controversial topic since fans have been speculating it since a long time and despite other batters failing, he was deprived of the chances. But, as it happened, Samson failed to utilise the opportunity as he was dismissed for a score of 5 runs from six balls. He couldn't hit any boundary in his short inning. Also, before being dismissed he was also dropped near the boundary ropes for an easy catch by Sri Lankan fielder, but it appears as the day did not at all belong to Samson.
