IND vs SL: The first T20I against Sri Lanka did not go well for Sanju Samson as the batsman was cheaply removed from the game and subsequently failed to take an easy catch. Samson fumbled Pathum Nissanka’s catch on the very first ball of Sri Lanka’s innings, giving the player a chance to bat again.
Hardik Pandya gives ‘angry’ look
India’s skipper and bowler during that over, Hardik Pandya, appeared evidently dissatisfied with Samson’s middle-field performance. After the player missed the catch, Pandya threw Samson an angry look while glaring.
Pandya threw a fantastic delivery on the second ball of the opening over, straightening up a little after pitching. The hitter squared up and managed an outside edge while playing for inswing. As a result, the ball inflated skyward, giving Samson plenty of time to catch it. The fielder, on the other hand, took a dive and caught the ball. When his elbows collided with the ground, it burst out of his hands.
Samson was laying on the ground with a wry look on his face. Meanwhile, Pandya gave Samson a quiet glare, seeming displeased.
