Chahal infuriated Umran Malik

Many times during a cricket match, the pressure builds to the point where the player loses his temper. In Sri Lanka’s innings, the 18th over saw one such occurrence. In this over, the fifth ball was a no-ball. Then, Umran Malik bowled another ball, which Shanaka expertly sliced and sent for six runs. On the boundary, Yuzvendra Chahal made every effort to catch that ball. However, he was unable to make the catch, and the ball strayed past the line. Despite the fact that this ball was a free hit, the fast bowler lost his cool when he saw the six go. Umran Malik was observed abusing Chahal during this time.

Hardik Pandya admitted the fault

Hardik Pandya, the captain, added, “We were disappointed in both the batting and bowling powerplay, as we were unable to take advantage of it. At this point, we made some mistakes that we shouldn’t have. We must acquire the fundamentals that are under our control. Even on a bad day, you can’t stray from the fundamentals; doing so is very challenging in these circumstances.”
