India had set a target of 153 for the hosts to chase down at the Providence Stadium, aiming to secure a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. Not just this, Hardik also created history by becoming the first Indian cricketer to achieve the remarkable milestone of scoring 4000 runs and taking 150 wickets in T20 cricket. He accomplished this feat during the second T20I against West Indies, where he dismissed Brandon King with his first delivery of the match.

Hardik Pandya trembles Windies

Hardik Pandya made an impact right from the first ball of the innings, delivering a swinging fuller-length delivery that tempted Brandon King to drive on the up. Despite getting a good stride in, the right-handed opener found Suryakumar Yadav at covers, who took a brilliant diving catch to dismiss him.

Following that, the 29-year-old bowler delivered another swinging fuller-length delivery on the fourth ball of the first over. Johnson Charles attempted to reach out to the ball but couldn't get to the pitch of it, resulting in a straightforward catch to the fielder at cover-point, where Tilak Varma made no mistake in taking the catch.
