Ind vs WI: India’s performance in the ongoing T20 series against West Indies has left many things to be desired. The Men in Blues looked utterly disappointing in the first two matches and suffered two consecutive defeats against West Indies for the first time in 12 years.

The second match especially left the fans and experts’ blood boiling as India made a brilliant comeback with the help of Yuzvendra Chahal. But the team let it slip as Hardik Pandya decided to give the next overs to Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar.

Former Indian international Venkatesh Prasad went on a rant about the below-average performance of the team and slammed Hardik Pandya for not taking risks. The tweets have got support from Indian Cricket Team fans from all around the world.

‘Very Very Ordinary’ Performance

Former Indian International went on to Twitter and slammed India’s performance as ordinary. He stated that the performances of the Indian team in white ball cricket since 2007 have been nothing special.

He further stated that India is neither an exciting team like England nor is brutal like Australia. The former cricketer mentioned all the recent series India has lost. He stated that the Indian team had lost the intensity and hunger to win matches.

The former right-arm medium pacer further mentioned the bad performances of the team in the ICC tournaments. Especially the T20 tournaments, and labeled the performances in T20 tournaments as poor.

He further stated that when Yuzvendra Chahal got you back in the game in the 16th over, why won’t you give him another over? He further stated that in times like these, you must be smarter instead of just doing textbook stuff.
