Shubman Gill scores 7 in IND vs WI

In the second match of the five-match T20 series between West Indies and India held in Guyana, captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat. Unfortunately, Team India's young batsman, Shubman Gill, once again struggled to make an impact with the bat. In his brief innings of 7 runs, which included a solitary six, Gill faced only 9 balls before being dismissed. Despite high expectations, he failed to live up to the fans' hopes, leading to a barrage of trolling on social media.

In the second over, the team managed to add 8 runs, taking their total to 9 runs after 2 overs. In the third over, both batsmen looked to accelerate and went for big shots to boost the scoreboard. On the fourth delivery of the third over, Shubman Gill struck a six off Alzarri Joseph's bowling. However, the Caribbean bowler was quick to retaliate and dismissed Gill on the very next ball, caught by Shimron Hetmyer. Notably, this marked Alzarri's 100th T20 wicket.
