Spectacular Goals Secure The Win

The nail-biting encounter took place at the Salalah Sports Complex, Oman, in front of a packed audience, fuelling the atmosphere with anticipation. The first goal came from India’s Angad Bir Singh in the 13th minute of the game, giving India a critical early lead. Araijeet Singh Hundal, the tournament’s top scorer, enhanced the team’s standing with another goal in the 20th minute. Pakistan fought back with a single goal from Abdul Basharat in the 37th minute, but it was not enough to tip the scales in their favor.

A Battle of Strategy and Skill

Both teams demonstrated formidable offensive prowess right from the start. India managed to secure an edge with Singh’s early strike, and Hundal’s subsequent goal in the second quarter further solidified this lead. Despite Pakistan’s persistent efforts and relentless attacking play, the Indian team’s solid defense, backed by stellar goalkeeper HS Mohith, held strong.

Valiant Pakistan Pushes India to the Limit

Pakistan refused to back down, launching a series of determined attacks in the fourth quarter. A crossfield shot by Abdul Shahid was deflected into the net by Basharat Ali, reducing the goal deficit. However, their numerous attempts to breach India’s defense, despite multiple penalty corners and dominating possession, proved unsuccessful.
