Asia Cup 2023: Finally, BCCI is ready to decide the team for the upcoming sub-continent tournament. With less than a month left to the competition, India is the only team that has not announced their squad.

All the other participating nations have announced their squad already and are preparing for the Asia Cup 2023. The Indian board has delayed their squad announcement because of all the ongoing injuries and indecisiveness over the players.

But it has been revealed that BCCI will hold a meeting on August 21 to decide and announce the squad for the upcoming tournament. With several good news coming their way, it looks like the board can announce a strong squad.

KL Rahul Fit To Return For Asia Cup 2023

According to various sources, it has been revealed that KL Rahul is completely fit and has offered himself up for the selection. The wicketkeeper-batsman has been regularly batting and keeping in the nets.

He is looking good fitness-wise and is ready to be part of the squad for Asia Cup 2023. Now, it will be up to selectors to decide whether they will go with KL Rahul or will keep betting on Ishan Kishan.

On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer is also looking positive and is recovering fast. It is still not clear whether he will be available for the tournament or not. But the selectors are positive on his return for ODI World Cup 2023.
