India vs England: Visitors can rest Jofra Archer for ODIs

The last match of the 5 match T20I series between India and England will begin shortly at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After this series from March 23, the three ODIs will be played between the two teams and England team can rest their veteran bowler Jofra Archer for ODI series.

This is just a speculation but there is no confirmation from the England Cricket Board. Jofra has been the consistent part of the England cricket team since 2019 World Cup and he has been performing well across the three formats.

Resting Jofra Archer will directly intend that the England team is reserving him for the mega Ashes series which will be played later this year and also the T20I World Cup. While he will also be taking part in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League from Rajasthan Royals.

However, Archer is also struggling with elbow problem these days and he could not play two Tests due to the elbow inury.
