India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2022: Kuldeep Sen replaces Deepak Chahar in Asia Cup squad

India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2022: Madhya Pradesh’s Kuldeep Sen who also represents Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League (IPL), is set to replace standby medium pacer Deepak Chahar in the Asia Cup 2022 squad of the India National Cricket Team, as per a report.

The Asia Cup 2022, which is the 15th edition of the tournament, is scheduled to be played from August 27 to September 11. The entire tournament is set to be held in United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the hosts Sri Lanka taking on Afghanistan in the opening clash.

“It’s absolutely rubbish. He is still with the team in Dubai. He joined the practice yesterday and will continue to do so today. He is absolutely fine. Kuldeep has joined as a net bowler. He is a fine talent but not as a full-time option,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

India and Pakistan are set to clash on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium.
