India Women dominate Day 3, Australia Women trail by 234 runs

At end of Day 3 Australia Women were at 143/4, trailing India Women by 234 runs in the Pink-ball Test at Queensland. Skipper Meg Lanning (38) is the top scorer for Australia till now.

India Women put up 377 runs in the first innings for the loss of eight wickets. Batting first Opener Smriti Mandhana (127) scored her first Test ton as India batters dominated the Australia bowlers.

After India declared their inning at 377/8, veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami gave the first breakthrough and ended Day 3 with two wickets in the bag. Pooja Vestrakar also got two wickets and was clinical against Australia batters.
