Indian Fast Bowler Krishna Ruled Out of ODI World Cup 2023 due to THIS reason

World Cup 2023: The Indian team received unfortunate news ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup as their renowned fast bowler, Krishna, has been sidelined due to a stress fracture. Krishna has been absent from cricket for approximately 6 months since his last international match for India in August 2022 against Zimbabwe in Harare.

There is no fixed date for the return

Krishna is currently present at the National Cricket Academy. There is about a month left for the start of IPL 2023, and he has not yet started bowling again. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a source from the BCCI told news agency PTI, “Prasidh is a stress fracture case and in such cases, you cannot give a likely date for his return.” The source further explained, “Each player’s body type is different, and the recovery process and time will be different. It can be anything from six months to a year. In Prasidh’s case, he is still not fully fit to play and it is unfortunate that he has also missed the entire domestic season.” Krishna plays for Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy, and for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. Now it remains to be seen when he can make a comeback in cricket.
